    When I click on compatibility trouble shooter, nothing happens. Why?


    I am trying to run Da Vinci Resolve on my Windows laptop. I have windows 11 already installed.

    Error 0x80070057 when loading the Compatibility Trouble-shooter/

    Selecting any program Properties then selecting the Compatibility tab followed by clicking on “Run compatibility trouble shooter”, I receive an Error “Code 0x80070057 (Context: Restricted)
    indicating an error occurred when loading the trouble-shooter. This happens on any installed program. The problem is noted on Windows 10 Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.81).

    Andre,

    I ran the tests you specified previously (except the Restart after the Tests). I repeated them again after receiving your email. The Compatibility trouble-shooter still fails.

    As stated previously, the compatibility trouble-shooter works fine when accessed through the Control Panel but fails when one uses the programs .exe files Properties selected through the C:/Programs.

    Your assistance is very much appreciated.

    Program Compatability Trouble Shooter- Windows 10

    I previously reported:
    Windows 10,Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.137), Error Code 0x80070057 when invoking the Programs Compatibility trouble-shooter.

    After further analysis, I would like to clarify that the Programs Compatibility trouble-shooter works fine when accessed through the Control Panel. However, it fails and generates the Error
    Code 0x80070057 while loading, when it is invoked through the system directory. For example: c:/Program Files/Malwarebytes/Anti-Malware/mbam.exe/mbam "Properties, window"-Compatibility tab "Run compatibility troubleshooter.

    I should have done my homework more carefully initially.
