Windows 10: What was the last DISM version prior to Image version 10.0.19045.3803?

My DISM tool version is 10.0.19041.3636 and my Image version 10.0.19045.3803.I understand DISM are updated only with major release.Just want to make sure my DISM tool is still 100% effective.

KB3073930 only for prior Window10 versions Not for Version 1709

• I have Windows 10 home version 1709. You all made up KB3073930 for prior home versions but it does not work for
  Version 1709. Are they going to put out a KB for 1709 to use? Andre De Costa's
  article is for prior versions of Windows 10.

Source to use for DISM on Windows 10

This is not completely true. The suggestion is to download the Techbench version and use DISM to apply to install.wim directly. However, you can also use the version download from MCT except it will involve an extra step as follows:

1. Use the latest version of 7-Zip to extract the content of install.esd. For example: to a folder xxx on the desktop
2. From Admin command prompt:
   Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\xxx\windows /LimitAccess

See screen shot, the contents of install.wim and install.esd are exactly the same.

 

DISM Generated Version Issue

The correct answer is some WIM images are externally versioned, using the base family's build version. Every W10 release after 2004 (19041) is considered a derivative release, from 20H2 (19042) thru 22H2 (19045). You won't get the actual install version using DISM on an image file, but you can extract it from the mounted WIM's registry hive. /get-wiminfo returns 19041: Code:
