    What to do with the windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log from the SFC scan?


    I am finding solution to my problem in starting some modules in my Laptop. I found in the internet that SFC /scannow may resolve the problem. But it said


    "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

    For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
    windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
    repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."



    What I'm gonna do now with the CBS log file?

    relating to problems in cbs log during sfc scan.


    • I have recently reset my windows 10 and after running the command prompt and using the sfc scan this is what i get.

    • Problem : Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log
      %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. The solution posted online is as follows : After you determine which system file was corrupted and could not be repaired through the detail information in the Sfcdetails.txt
      file, find where the corrupted file located, and then manually replace the corrupted file with a known good copy of the file. Note You may be able to get a known good copy of the system file from another computer that is running the same version
      of Windows with your computer.

    • Question: How to acheive a "good copy from another pc". Can someone help please?
