Windows 10: What to do if File Explorer opens but crashes when any category or folder is opened?

A few hours ago my pc lit up saying it had run into a problem and just up and restarted itself. Since then I have been unable to access file explorer along with xbox game bar, minecraft launcher, and a few other apps. I have already tried restarting these applications, running diagnostics, clear file explorer history, and my computer has more than enough storage left over for it to work. I would have very glad if someone could help me with this issue.

Opening a Folder in VC++

I've recently started learning VC++ and it's coming along quite nicley, I've now been given a little task by my boss to add a button to an excisting Incident report program.

All the button needs to do is open a new explorer window and open the folder selected in the incident report program. There isn't a deadline for it, it's just to assist in my learning.

I'm not asking for anyone to do it for me, i just need a few suggestions on how to do this so i'm looking in the correct direction?

Windows Explorer crashes whenever I open my external HDD or thumb drive in explorer..

I once had that with a folder, had to do with explorer opening some video files to create thumbs.

Hi

I have a problem with file explorer in windows 10

When i try to open a folder from the list at the left corner as example a folder from Quick access

When i click on it with right click and choose open in new window the file explorer crashes and restart again
