Windows 10: what is global.IrisService

there are posts on the internet about it but none of them are from microsoft. I just thought microsoft should say what it is. the service never used to show up in taskmgr. and I got a yellow flash when I was playing the witcher 3 and after I closed it I noticed it showed up in taskmgr. the yellow flash wasnt noticeable but it creeped me out so I closed the game. it had been frequently crashing before that but that isn't abnormal for the witcher 3 complete edition.

C7 - Mail for exchange- Company directory - global address list

I have configured my exchange email account on C7. The mail sync works fine. However I don't find a way to browse the Global address list. Right now the only option to get any of the contacts is to synchronize them on to the phone's address book.



Again, this seems to be a step down from the mail for exchange application on E63 which had a stand alone company directory. I could use that to locate any contact on the exchange global address list.



Is there a way to configure the same in C7?

Is there a way to install the company directory? ( I couldnt find a stand alone sis on google search)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. My question was about accessing contacts from an Exchange Global Outlook List (GAL) and not contacts within Outlook, which I'm able to sync.



It's not a feature I would like to suggest, but a feature that is important to use Windows Phone 8 in a corporate environment. All previous versions of Windows Phone has worked with my employer's exchanger server.



Any further suggestions?

Global Roaming

Both the phones you listed are quad-band gsm. I am not sure but I think they are excluded from that list because even though they are quad-band gsm, the E52 is only dual-band 3g and the N97 it only tri-band 3g. This just means that the phone will work globally
on the gsm network but not always on the 3g networks.
