Windows 10: What can cause an application pop up with message "Hello" with event ID 26, event record...

As a domain admin, when RDP in to another VM from a virtual host, received a pop up message with "hello" on the VM and when checking event viewer the application information event ID is 26, with process ID 4820 and not an error. However, wondering why it just says hello and is only occurred once. Has anyone come across this before?

Event viewer error with event id 10016

I understand that you are getting an error “DistributedCOM 10016” in the event viewer logs.

• Do you face any issues on the computer?
  
• Have you made any recent changes to the computer?

This problem may occur if either of the following conditions is true:

• A program with the class ID (CLSID) that appears in the message tries to start the COM component by using the DCOM infrastructure. However, the user does not have the required permissions to start the COM component.

• The Network Service account does not have the correct permissions.

Event logs are special files that record significant events on your computer, such as when a user logs on to the computer or when a program encounters an error. Whenever these types of events occur, Windows records the event in
an event log that you can read by using Event Viewer. Advanced users might find the details in event logs helpful when troubleshooting problems with Windows and other programs.

If you do not have any issues with app or any other program I would suggest you to ignore it.

Event ID 7000

Dear Team,



We're using windows 10 enterprise edition 64bit but often getting bluescreen also unexpected restart without any reason.

We have tried to restage the machine but still the same error message. We have check Event viewer logs in the computer we found around 102890 within one hour Event ID : 7000 and Event ID: 26.



Event ID 7000 error code



The Blocki service failed to start due to the following error:


Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.



Event ID 26 error code



The description for Event ID 26 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on
the local computer.



If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.



The following information was included with the event:



\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Blocki.sys failed to load



If you have any solution for this issue please could you share with us to resolve the problem ASAP.

What Event IDs are Enabled by Default?

There actually isn't such a thing as a default Event ID. Event Viewer is simply a log. It records everything that goes on with the computer, whether it matters or not. For convenience the events are given an ID number. There must be thousands of Event IDs. I'm not sure if there is a place where you can go to find a complete list of all Event IDs.
