Windows 10: Website credentials, autofill and passwords

About a month ago, after an update, my autofill and passwords stopped working. On Windows 11, both in Chrome and Edge. All the right boxes are ticked. But nothing. And it is only on the one laptop - it works fine on all my other devices. If I go to password manager for chrome, it does not show my passwords. But if I access it through Google, all the passwords are still there. On Facebook I now have to authorise access always via another device. On Outlook I have to retype the full domain and password. I have tried all the solutions posed previously and no success!

Website password

I have one website that Edge won't remember the username and password. As I type the username the next characters flash in the box. I went into Credential Manager and the site was listed with the correct username and password. I deleted its listing and brought the page up and logged in. Edge asked if I wanted to save the username and password; I clicked yes and went to another site, then went back and the login info wasn't there. It's back in Credential Manager.

 

How do I update password in credential manager?

I recently deleted website/password from credential manager. When attempting to login to same website with new password, it autofills old password at end of new and i can't login

 

autofill passwords dissappeared

My autofill passwords are gone. I went to log in to a website , the password didn't fill in automatically, I checked under settings/autofill and there's nothing there. I restarted and still nothing. Can I retrieve the information somehow?
