developing WindowsUpdate Custom Control Function of Windows10

Hello.

I'm developing WindowsUpdate Custom Control Function of Windows10.(and the lower versions already completed.

I'm using IUpdateSearcher2, and the code is below.

sQuery = _T("isinstalled=1");

pUpdateSearcher->Search(CComBSTR(sQuery), &pResult);

I thought, this function is usable in the Windows Power Shell, so, I found the script, and execute the query in Windows 7, and it worked!

But, I run the query in Windows 10, but it didn't worked.

So, I'm just qurious. Is there any method to query Windows Core Update List using PowerShell or any other methods in Windows 10?

$Session = New-Object -ComObject Microsoft.Update.Session

$Searcher = $Session.CreateUpdateSearcher()
$Criteria = "IsInstalled=1 or IsInstalled=0"
$SearchResult = $Searcher.Search($Criteria)

$SearchResult.Updates

It works in Windows 7(return update list), but dosen't work in Windows 10.(return 0 list)

(When I firstly installed Windows10, it partitially worked. some lists returned, but all didn't. I need Windows Update Full list.)

(I don't want Get History Query, I also need list to update[receive])

To Block Windows 11 update, see the steps below, which is explained later on step by step. This would also work even if you have clicked Download and install.

• Right-click Start and select Windows Powershell(admin).
  
• Press Yes when Prompted.
  
• Type cmd.exe to open Command Prompt inside Powershell.
  

Paste the following command to enable Targeted Updates to a specific release:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversion /t REG_DWORD /d 1
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H2, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H2
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H1, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H1
  

You should see the “The command completed successfully” message when you enter the commands.

 

Permanently Disable Driver Signature Enforcement on Windows 11

Hi,

I have windows 11 and for some reason Audio and Webcam drivers are not recognized saying it couldn't check driver signature (when in fact they are).

I've went into Recovery/Advanced Startup, selected option 7 to don't validate signatures and everything works fine.

So I want to make this permanently.

-I have already tried through group policy to ignore it, which seems not working.

-I have tried using different commands on CMD (which are blocked due to secure boot)

Is there any way I can make this permanent on Windows 11?

Hate windows not letting me use my hardware.
