Windows 10: Waking up after sleep/shutdown/reboot/hibernation takes time. Sometimes wakeup from...

Lately, after putting the computer to sleep/hibernate or shutting down for more than half an hour or even a restart, it takes atleast 3-4 minutes to transition from a black screen to anything else. While coming back from sleep/hibernate, it will sometimes give me a BSDO such as DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. Also Idk if it will help but sometimes during runtime or after restart/wakeup from sleep mode, my computer won't detect my hard disk drive till I restart the OS. BSOD/Slow wake when waking from sleep/hibernation

Any suggestions?
This BSOD is continuing and happening more frequently...
It has to point where it is pointless to sleep/hibernate as it crashes everytime when waking up... having to shutdown everytime and booting up takes ages

 

Task scheduler wakes from sleep/hibernation but PC then goes back to sleep/hibernation

Hi,

I have a HP EliteBook 840 G1 with Windows 10.

I am looking to put my laptop to sleep/hibernation each night at a set time. Then the scheduler will wake the PC at a set time and run a .bat file.

The Windows scheduler wakes the PC fine but after a few minutes it goes back to sleep/hibernation. I would appreciate any suggestions to prevent this.

The laptop is connected to power the whole time and I have disabled auto sleep.

Won't Hibernation after Sleep

My laptop will wake up in 30minutes after sleep, which is supposed to go into hibernation, instead, it just stay awake.

My power setting is:

sleep after - 15min

hybrid sleep - off

hibernation after - 30min

wakeup timer - off

Also, when I see event,

there is this:

System time synchronized with the hardware clock

might be a problem.

So why can not my laptop go hibernation after sleep?
