Windows 10: Wacom - no device connected

This is a common problem and trust me, I have read and tried every 'solution' out there.Wacom even replaced the 2018 Cintiq pro 24 with a refurbed 2020 model, still wont connect. The original device connected fine for over 2 years to the same laptop until Feb 2020. Then one day for no apparent reason, no device connected.I tried it on a different laptop also Win 10. no device connected. A Wacom Intuos connects fine An XP Pen Deco Pro also connects fineI have tried new cables, every USB port, de installed drivers, installed new drivers , installed old drivers...

''Wacom device not connected to your computer''

Hi.

I recently just bought a Wacom draw tablet. I installed the latest driver and followed all steps correctly. After restarting my computer, nothing happens, no blue light will show when I connect my wacom tablet to the laptop.

So I go onto ''Wacom tablet properties'' and it says

even
though I have connected the wacom to the laptop. I have tried installing and uninstalling the drivers but same thing happens.

I bought this other wacom tablet and the same thing happened so I refunded it to get this new one.

I have tried everything, going onto services and stopping and starting the program, searching everywhere but nothing helps.

On device manager, the wacom tablet doesn't come under anything.It just says ''mouse'' on mice and other pointing devices, it doesn't come under universal serial bus controllers. I am starting to lose hope, and I'm starting to think that my laptop is the
problem.

Please help me asap.

 

Wacom driver error 10 on Lenovo Miix 510

We appreciate you posting your concern here in the Community forum. In order to help you with your Wacom driver issue, kindly follow the steps suggested below:

1. Click the Start button from the bottom left portion of the screen.
2. Once the search field appear, type Services and press
   Enter.
3. In the Services window, scroll down to Wacom Professional Service.
4. Right-click the Wacom Professional Service and choose
   Start.

If the steps above doesn't help, you may try to uninstall and reinstall the Wacom driver without turning off or disabling the Windows firewall. You may also choose to rollback the Wacom driver if it is working correctly before. Use the following steps:

1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
2. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
3. Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select
   Properties.
4. Navigate to Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.

Wacom Tablet problem "Driver Not Found"

These steps worked for me:

Basic steps:

• press windows start button
• type "Services" (don't type the quotes) and press enter
• in Services window, scroll down to "Wacom Professional Service"
• right-click the "Wacom Professional Service" and choose "start"
