Windows 10: Wacatac.B!ml trojan malware found by Windows Defender...remediation incomplete

2 days ago, Windows Defender indicated it found Wacatac.B!ml on my system, but remediation was incomplete. The path of the file it listed is C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Healthy\Healthy.exe. I ran Windows Defender, MalwareBytesFree version, and Zemana Antimalware free version, and none indicated any malware. The file is still on my system at the same location. I saw in Task Manager EIGHT entries for Healthy.exe. All were disabled, but the memory usage for each entry varies, but each is from 1036K up to 97,584K. I researched Wacatac.B!ml on the web, and one of the articles state:"He

Windows Defender not able to remove that virus. Plz help how to remove it.

I already run
Microsoft Safety Scanner (64-bit). But virus still in my pc

Now Defender shows remediation incomplete Severe

Maybe check startup items for third party software that might run on boot and disable if not needed.

On another note it's crap if it doesn't give you the file path.




A harmless detection from my machine. Without knowing the file path or file name it's too hard to say what the issue is. If you had WiseVector StopX running when Defender detected the trojan I'd say it likely not serious.
