Windows 10: Volume stop working on my laptop

The volume won't work on my laptop. I did everything windows told me to do even uninstalling/reinstalling and updating. Still my volume doesn't want to unmute. Any suggestions?

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

hey guys I'm trying to get clockgen to work on my laptop but can't get any of the plls to work, can you please post like exactly what steps I need to take to test each pll to see if it works? my specs are listed to the left

Upon switching to Windows 10 my PC volume and Google Chrome stopped working properly

Ever since I switched to Windows 10 a month or so ago, the volume stopped working properly even if I turn my laptop off then on again - that no sound comes out of the laptop or through the headphone when plug the latter in. While turning the power off then
on would not work, I've been able to get the volume to work by doing the following:

- right click on the volume icon in the bottom right corner

- select troubleshooting sound problems

- select speakers

- select apply fix...

It should be noted that these steps only work to get sound from the laptop, but sound through the headphone still would not work. I think to get the headphone to work I would need to select "headphones" instead of "speakers".

All this is annoying as I have to this every day since I turn my laptop off overnight.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
