Windows 10: Video pausing every 3-5 seconds

Hey!I've had my Lenovo Thinkpad L15 for about a year or so, and in the past couple of days I have had problems with streaming videos. Every 3-5 seconds it pauses without me touching anything. Sometimes it restarts without me touching it either. This is the case no matter what website or browser I'm using be it youtube or BBC news or anything. I have checked my wifi connectivity and it is strong and apparently fast. I've also noticed that on Youtube it shows the grey bar meaning that it's probably not a problem with the download speed. Windows loses focus every 3-5 seconds

This focus issue is making it nearly impossible to type anything continually. Windows loses focus every 3-5 seconds, pausing and not typing what I've typed. I can't live with this- any suggestions?

 

Audio and video pauses automatically

Audio and video pause automatically (and sometimes pause and play) only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ).
1. It happens only when I am playing a video or audio.
2. No virus (after scan)
3. Since the spacebar key is usually associated with play & pause, I tried typing something in MS word. I did not see any auto space being generated between 2 letters. (tested for 5 mins)
4. Autoplay and pause (sometimes just pause) occur maybe after 20 seconds. (it is random)
5. I can actually see the virtual pause and play button is toggled. (no other error message is shown, it happens as if I am physically pressing the spacebar key.

Linux/XBMC Live - Frame Pauses

about 3 or 4 times a movie, the video will pause, sound continues for about 5 seconds, then pauses, then another 5 seconds later everything will do a "fast forward" bit and catch up to where it was. I was thinking this was a video card problem since I'm running a BIOSTAR 9400GT 1024MB DDR-2 DX10.0 GRAPHICS CARD CSVN9402THG1 Link to nvidia video card post where i was suggested to post here

Anyways, I'm running XBMC Live off a 8gig thumb drive.

It's difficult to get specs since My buddy built it and i don't exactly know what is in it, I suppose I could tear it open and write down all the numbers on the stickers. wasn't sure if this is common and someone had a simple answer.
