pen malfunction.mp4Attached is a video demonstration with annotations to help explain the problem I am having. Lenovo support has been contacted AND dispatched, with a replacement display, digitizer module, and all required cables / baffles for the device. Everything is brand new, hardware wise. However, the problem persists, and I have no clue what could be causing this issue. Finger touch input works fine as you can see, however, using a Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus, that uses AES 2.0 protocol, on my Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5i 14IRU8, which also uses AES 2.0 protocol, and has worked fine up until a f

    Pen Input inverted

I just tried the troubleshooting steps you listed, no improvement whatsoever. I'm starting to think that it's the new screen. Maybe the man who fixed it didn't do something right or maybe it's a defective screen. I've tried everything to try and fix the
pen input, but it just isn't working...

  3. Wacom Pen Input Issue-Dual Monitor

    Hi Amistad,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with the Windows.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

    • How is the Wacom pen connected to PC, Bluetooth or USB?
    • Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
    • What happens when you switch the monitors and use?
Step 1: I would suggest you to update the Display drivers
and check if it helps you.

Uninstall and Reinstall the graphics card drivers and check.

    Refer: Redirecting

If that doesn't help uninstall and reinstall latest graphic driver from manufacturer's website.

Step 2: I would suggests you to Uninstall and reinstall the software which you are using for editing

Tablet mode and Handwriting input in windows 11 in non touch laptop with xp pen.

    Dear KRISHNA PRIYATHAM POTLURI,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Thank you for reaching out regarding your interest in using handwritten input and virtual keyboard features, similar to tablet mode, on your ASUS Tuf F15 laptop running Windows 11 Insider Preview version 24H2 with an XP Pen Star G640.

While Windows 11 is optimized for touch-enabled devices in tablet mode, you can still explore handwriting input and virtual keyboard functionalities on your non-touch laptop using your XP Pen Star G640. Here are some steps to help you get started:

    1. Activate Handwriting Input:
      • Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar settings.
      • Scroll down to Taskbar corner icons and toggle on Pen menu.
      • Click on the pen icon in the taskbar and select Handwriting. This will enable the handwriting input panel.
    2. Enable the On-Screen Keyboard:
      • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
      • Toggle on the On-screen keyboard option. This will allow you to use the virtual keyboard whenever you need it.
    3. XP Pen Star G640 Settings:
      • Ensure you have the latest drivers for your XP-Pen Star G640. You can download them from the XP-Pen official website.
      • Open the XP-Pen tablet settings application.
      • Make sure the pen is properly calibrated and configured for your display.
      • With the handwriting panel enabled, you can use your XP-Pen to write directly in this panel. The system will convert your handwriting to text in compatible applications.
    4. Exploring Handwritten Input: Open an application where you want to use handwritten input (e.g., Microsoft OneNote). Use your XP Pen Star G640 stylus to write directly on the screen. Windows Ink Workspace provides additional tools and features for pen input, which you can explore.
Please note that while these steps enable handwriting and virtual keyboard features on your laptop, some functionalities designed specifically for touch-enabled devices may have limitations on non-touch devices.

If you encounter any issues or need further assistance with configuring your XP Pen Star G640 or using these features, feel free to reach out. We're here to help!
