Version 24H2 and NVIDIA major conflict. What do I do?

Tried to update to Windows 11, version 24H2 and it no longer recognized the NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3070 Ti Laptop GPU. I tried to install the latest NVIDIA driver but it failed saying there was no hardware on the machine for it. So I had to rollback to 23H2 and I did get my monitor back.I read on a support page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/guidance-for-updating-to-windows-11-version-24h2-on-devices-with-certain-nvidia-display-adapters-e18ab24b-3309-4dac-b967-c287c3ce28eb that NVIDIA owners MUST install Microsoft's recommended video driver BEFORE attempting to install version 24H2
