Windows 10: USB doesnt show up in File Explorer but its on Disk Management

Hey. I have a weird issue. All of a sudden my computer started not recognizing some of my USB sticks, although they work completely fine on other computers.The USBs are shown in the Disk Management as a removable disk. However, when you try to assign a letter to it, you get this weird error: "The operation failed to complete because the Disk Management console view is not up-to-date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task. If the problem persists close the Disk Management console, then restart Disk Management or restart the computer." I have tried to assign a letter using diskpart, but a

A few possible reason can cause your external drive to not show in File Explorer. To diagnose and fix this issue, we suggest that you check the Disk Management window. To open it, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the Start button.
• Select Disk Management.
• Alternatively, you can search diskmgmt.msc in Cortana.

Examine the list of drives in the Disk Management window and look for your external drive. Even if it doesn’t show up in File Explorer, it should appear here. If the drive appears, it may not be appearing in File Explorer because it needs to be assigned
a drive letter. To do this, right-click the partition on the drive in Disk Management and select
Change Drive Letter and Paths.

If you don’t see the drive in the Disk Management window at all, we suggest that you try connecting the drive to a different USB port or use a different USB cable. We also recommend that you avoid using USB hubs, and connect the drive directly to your computer.

USB Floppy drive shows in File Explorer as A:\, but I don’t see it in Windows 10 Disk Management

USB Floppy drive shows in File Explorer as A:\, but I don’t see it in Windows 10 Disk Management, at least I don’t see any partitions with just 1.44MB. I can list the contents of the floppy, and copy files, but I’m not able to access it in any programs. When I go to Disk Management in Windows 10 to assign a different drive letter, I don’t see any partitions that show as A:\ or small enough to be a floppy drive. Any ideas how to use this drive? Thanks in advance for any help.
