Windows 10: Upgrade Windows 7 on SSD NVMe to Windows 10 on SSD NVMe

I've been searching the web for this answer but I cannot find any. It's either they tell you how to upgrade from Windows 7 on regular HDD to Windows 10 on regular HDD or how they migrate from Windows 10 on HDD to Windows 10 on SSD NVME.So right now I'm still using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. I didn't upgrade to Windows 8 or 10 because they were not fully compatible with all games at that time. But years have passed and many updates or bug fixes were done by Microsoft. So I assume Windows 10 is a lot more compatible to old games now.However, I already installed my Windows 7 on SSD NVME. I want

Tried this, and windows still didn't see the nvme ssd. It was a brand new nvme ssd right out of the box. Nothing works.

I am having difficulty with installing Windows 10 on a 500gb WD m.2 2280 nvme ssd. I have a crosshair vii hero, AMD ryzen 7 2700x. The windows 10 1909 uefi usb drive has a basic unttend.xml in it, to help setup some settings during the install. I have
followed every direction post i could find about installing windows 10 to a nvme drive, and i cant get Windows 10 to see the nvme ssd.

How much exactly does Windows 10 benefit from being installed on an M2 NVME SSD compared to a SATA-600 SSD ?

Other than a faster boot time, how exactly does windows benefit from the direct connection to the cpu that an NVME SSD offers?
