Windows 10: Updating windows10 from 1607 LSTB to 1809 LSTC

Hello. Is there someone to help me update windows?I'm using Widows10 Enterprise LSTB1607 now.But i want to update it to LSTCv1809 or v21H2Actually i don't think it's gonna be possible to update it to v21H2 because it's not a IOT Enterprise.However i think it seems possible to get the v1809. is there anyway for updating to 1809 ??If it's possible, I'm curious following things.1. Is it possible to get that version by executing Windows update through 'setting' app?? Or do i have to download some files from Microsoft for that version ?

Updating Windows 10 1607 to current

Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to update your Windows 10 to the LTSB Version through Windows Update and Update Assistance.

To update the LTSB Versions the only way is through a Clean installation or update Via iso and this using the latest version of LTSB/LSTC in this case you need the iso for the LSTC version which would be in Version 2021.

In this case, you would contact Microsoft support to obtain the ISO of the LSTC Version using the license basis.

Remembering that if it is a corporate computer, it is better to check with the company's Support team since the LSTB/LSTC Enterprise versions are apparently focused on long-term use for corporations.

Windows 10 1607 to 1703 Creators update fails with 0xC1900101 - 0x30018

Hi,

Normally, we suggest reverting back to the previous Windows update which is 1607. To do that, follow the steps below.

Open Settings window.

Click Update and Security, Recovery.

Select Get Started, under Go back.

This is only a workaround that should work on your end.

Let us know if you have other concerns.

1607 update failure

Solved MS Edge issue using the suggestion below... this link page 2, Tsirk

Am leaving the issue re installing Win 10 Anniversary Update (1607) until I clean install the next update.

Finally I found a solution how the MS edge works without creating new user account. I read this from reddit and I found the solution really works for me. Microsoft Edge opens and immediately closes itself. : Windows10

STEP 1: Delete the corrupted Microsoft Edge Folder. "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
Delete the "Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe" the FOLDER itself, Make sure you are logged as ADMIN before doing so.

STEP 2: Then Launch Powershell as administrator by pressing Windows key then R, then type powershell, to launch it as admin try to right click the powershell icon at the taskbar after you launch it, the click RUN as ADMIN.

STEP 3: Copy and paste these command: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}
Hit enter and once the command is executed,

STEP 4: Quit powershell and restart the computer to complete the process.

STEP 5: Open the MS EDGE to see if its working on you.

Thanks for all the people who are hassled in these problem, finally I made great fix for corrupted ms edge in my pc.
