Windows 10: Update KB5057589. After it installed earlier today, my Windows key no longer works.

These three updates in the attached screenshot went through my system today. But, the one on the bottom installed first, and I immediately noticed afterwards that the Windows key on my keyboard stopped working. Normally, it will open the Start Menu. But, now when I press it, I get the spinning blue circle gif for a moment, and then nothing.Even if I left-click on the Start icon on my desktop which is supposed to do the same thing, I get the same non-response. However, if I right-click on the Start icon, I get that normal sub-menu with stuff like Device Manager and System.My keyboard and

As the above steps doesn't work, I suggest you to try the below and check.

I suggest you to restore the system to the previous point where PC was working normally. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

  Press Windows + I key and click on Update and security.
  
• 
  Click on Recovery, and click on
  Restart under Advance startup.
  
• 
  In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
  'Troubleshoot'.
  
• 
  Click, Advanced Options and then click on
  System Restore.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen suggestion to restore your PC to earlier point.

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
