  1. Unknown device pops up in Device Manager when Bluetooth is turned on

I'm in the middle of sorting this issue with my ASUS X99 board, it seems the widcomm drivers i use dont fit in too well, i am having to manually install a driver for my BCM20702 integrated device to get it working

  2. I upgraded to the April 2018 update yesterday and then this issue showed up. Basically, when Bluetooth is turned on, an Unknown device pops up in Device Manager. However, when I turn Bluetooth off, it disappears (screenshots below). The information shows that it is a conflict with the Bluetooth drivers. Reinstalling Bluetooth drivers from the manufacturer's website led to no avail. Seems like Microsoft breaks more things than they can fix with every new update. Pathetic.

    :)

  3. 'Allow a device to connect' is greyed out

    Good day.

That did not work. I now have bigger problems... When trying to pair my phone again, I turn my phone's visibility on but the computer can't find it but my phone can find the computer. So when I try pairing it the message pops up to tell me that a device
wants to pair, when I click accept, a message pops up and says that the device is already connected. My phone does however not show there but it does in the device manager under Bluetooth. Once I uninstall it in device manager and try to connect it again the
same message pops up and I can find my device under Bluetooth again.

    What can I do now?

  4. Unknown device pops up in Device Manager when Bluetooth is turned on

    PC not recognising my phone

Do you get a question popping up in phone screeen when you connect the cable to phone and PC asking about the conneciton type `?

If not, go to windows device manager and check that the phone is not seen as unknown USB device. If it is, highlight the unknown device in device manager, right click with mouse and select uninstall.

Boot PC and try to connect again.

I have the exact same issue and just posted before yours. I've looked everywhere for the driver and have no luck. Hopefully, someone will have a solution that can get rid of the annoyance.
