    Unique problem with Seagate FreeAgent External Hard Drive not getting detected on Windows 11


    I have an old Seagate FreeAgent 1TB external hard drive which has lot of data on it from over the years. However recently it has stopped showing up in File Explorer. Here is what I can see:The LED light on the HDD lights up & I can feel the drive runningI have tried connecting on different laptops, but the same issueThe Drive shows up in Disk Management as you can see fro the screenshot below. However it is showing up in 3 partitions although in the past it would show up as 1 drive only in File Explorer - For two partitions, it is not getting detected, and not having a drive letter eithe

    Seagate Freeagent not detected

    Operating on Windows 10 and trying to get my Seagate Freeagent external hard drive to work. While the drive shows up I keep getting the following: message Location is Not Found, E:\is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect. I have Windows completely
    updated. I have also installed Seagate Agent and Seagate Discwizard but still cannot access my hard drive. Other than pictures from two trips overeseas to adopt my children, there is nothing on it I need. Please help!

    Windows 10 and a Seagate FreeAgent Desktop external harddrive

    I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 10. Now, my Seagate FreeAgent Desktop external hard drive isn't recognized. I did find it and it said there was a driver error. I checked and I have the most current driver available. Any suggestions on how
    to fix this problem so I can use this external hard drive?

    Is widows 10 compatible with seagate freeagent external drives?

    I am not able to access my seagate freeagent external hard drive with windows 10. I installed the Seagate software on my surface pro 3, I can see the Seagate drive in windows explorer. However, when I open the Seagate manager no external drive is shown.
    Is windows 10 compatible with Seagate external drive?
