Windows 10: Uninstalling and Reinstalling Windows OS to SSD

Hello,I've been experiencing an issue where my hard drive is running 100% all the time. My theory is that the OS could be installed on both the hard drive and SSD the HDD still runs 100% even with clean storage. I or the tech person I was working with at the time could have done this by accident. I was wondering how I can uninstall the OS on both the HDD and SSD. Then, only install the Windows OS for the SSD. I only use my PC for gaming and school I used to use it for work when I worked remotely. I tried everything from 2021 to 2023 with Dell tech support, and that's when they told me to g

SSD - copy or reinstall OS?

I have established ssd and there is no wish to reinstall OS. I want to transfer already established OS by means of acronis true image.

Whether it is necessary for for correct work of Windows 10 OS to do pure installation on SSD?

Or to adjust rather copied OS having disconnected excess load of SSD?

 

Reinstall Windows?

You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
