    Uninstall Powershell.exe Trojan


    Webroot detected PS/TrojanLoader.LM in c:\windows\sysnative\WindowsPowershell\v1.0\powershell.exe. In my task manager cmd.exe, find.exe, conhost.exe, and powershell.exe run for a second then close. Also GoogleChrome closes and opens a new window every minute about 30 min after initializing.I’ve done the second reply to this post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-uninstall-powershell-trojan-virus/3b59e8d4-6026-454e-b089-1dec983fbbac and still no luck.

    How to uninstall Powershell v1.0?

    Hi all, I want to uninstall Powershell from my Windows 10x64 system, so first step I uninstalled Powershell 2.0 as seen below:

    Uninstall Powershell.exe Trojan [​IMG]

    However that uninstalled v2.0 of Powershell. Powershell v1.0 (I believe it's the 32bit version) still remains in my system as seen below:

    How can I uninstall Powershell v1.0? Thanks

    Uninstall Photo app by using Powershell command

    Thank you for posting your response.

    I apologize for the miscommunication. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.


    • 1. Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.

      2. Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

      3. Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.

      • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage ( check the spacing)
    After performing the above steps, install the Photo app from the Windows store.
