Windows 10: Unable to view More Settings when printing an image within Photos App using HP Smart

Hello. When I try to print a JPEG image within the Photos App, I use HP Smart App. When I click on "more settings" to modify the print print quality, colors the Drop-Down menus disappear - see attached. When I print PDF or text documents - I don't have any problems.If I open the document using Paint or Snip & Sketch and try to print a JPEG image within those apps - there is no problem. If I right-click the unopened JPEG image and select print using the printer - also - no problem - I get to modify my print settings.I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Photos - still the same prob

Following these instruction I get as far as step 3.

• Press Windows key and type Photos in search box and hit enter.
• Browse and open the photo you want to print.
• Click on the more option (three dots) on the upper right corner of the app.
• AT THIS POINT Print does not appear. All that shows is: Refresh, Slideshow, Settings and Feedback
• I am running Windows 10 Home

• Which App/program are you using to view/print photos?

I suggest you to use Photos app to print the photos and check if it works. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key and type Photos in search box and hit enter.
• Browse and open the photo you want to print.
• Click on the more option (three dots) on the upper right corner of the app.
• Click on Print option.
• Select the desire printer and size of photo from the Printer option.
• Press Print and check if it works.

Windows 10 Photos app prints images twice

Hi JenMcC,

There could be a number of factors as to why you are experiencing issues with Photos app. This could be caused by a software conflict or incorrect printer settings.

I'd like to know more about your concern. Kindly verify if you are experiencing this issue only when printing photos from Photos app. Have you tried printing from a website or another application? If so, are you experiencing the same issue?

You can also reset the Photos app. To do this, refer to the steps below:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & feature.
   
2. Click the Photos app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
   
3. Click Reset.
