Windows 10: Unable to re-activate my Windows 10 Pro digital license on the same PC

After one of my old laptops had a hardware failure, I migrated to a PC set-up around July of 2023. Windows 10 Pro worked just fine for me. A few weeks ago I bought a new SSD to clone the os as a backup, but made a mistake and cloned it in the opposite direction. This unfortunately erased the old OS. Good thing I knew to backup my files on that before I tried to clone I decided to try re-installing Windows 10 on the same PC and signed into my Microsoft account as part of the process. When I try to re-activate my device, I am told I have no options for devices. This is despite my Microsoft acc

Activating Windows 10 pro using digital license - Issues

I recently bought a brand new PC, and I got windows 10 pro installed (unactivated version) and I was told that I can transfer my digital license 1-time for free. I am struggling to follow the steps, and when I go to activation troubleshooting, it still picks
up my old PC. Is there a way around this?
