    Unable to find the boot loader/menu.


    I have a tablet "Micromax LT777" which comes with a keyboard One day, I was running Ubuntu with an external USB device. I went for a break and folded its lid. When I came and lifted its lid, the screen was black with no OS, no input was working, no boot menu nothing. I am stuck with a black screen. I tried to get into its boot menu multiple times by using Esc button, pressing volume + - key, and what not. I am unable to get into boot menu and install a fresh windows OS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Could you please let me know if BIOS could be corrupted? I tried to open the tablet to

    How do I remove the Linux Boot Loader?

    You don't actually uninstall a boot loader but replace it with another.

    You cannot get Ubuntu to start on a Windows' boot loader, it needs to be GRUB (or an open source equivalent).

    Any ways, to get the Windows' boot loader back up, you need to insert your WIN7 installer disk and select the repair option>startup repair. I am assuming the WIN7 will use a similar setup menu as VISTA.

    After that, just format the partition/disk that ubuntu is on...

    issues with Boot Loader

    esaay bcd has a repair boot loader and other boot loader options, its saved me back when i removed my second hard drive
