Windows 10: Unable to connect Laptop with mobile phone or tablet via bluetooth.

Hi Team Microsoft,


I want to use the "Your phone" app of Microsoft, but when it comes to connecting the phone via Bluetooth it just pairs and then does not connect. I use Windows 10 2004 version. I checked my other Bluetooth devices like headphones and they work perfectly. the problem is only with mobile devices. I tried to connect 4 devices but all had the same problem. I checked if my drivers are fine and also troubleshoot the Bluetooth, I tried every possible way to fix it but it is not working. it worked perfectly with previous versions of windows. and in the start, it worked with this version also but then after I started "Your Phone" app it stopped working.

I mean fastest to transfer. I have wireless router & WiFi in, bluetooth my laptop & tablet both.. if u suggest any cable I m ready to buy it too. but I need fastest & easy trasffer rate. thx

Thanks for getting back, Dee. Since only the mobile devices connected via Wi-Fi Direct following the steps above, then I suggest that you try adding your mobile device on your laptop. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
2. Click Add Bluetooth or other device.
3. Under Add a device, select Everything else.
4. Once your mobile phone appears, select it.
5. Click Done when finished.

Bluetooth won't connect my laptop and my phone together.

Hello. I am trying to connect my Samsung J3 (2017) phone to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth and am experiencing some issue. I have managed to 'pair' the two devices but I am unable to have them connected, and I have tried doing so from both my phone and my
laptop. So far I have taken the following steps to try and resolve the issue but none of them have work as of now:

• Check for Windows 10 updates
• Run the troubleshooter for bluetooth
• Run the troubleshooter for hardware & devices
• Check that my drivers are up-to-date
• Restart the bluetooth service
• Restart my laptop

I was hoping I would be able to connect my phone to my device to share conent and try out the new dynamic lock feature but due to these issues I am unable to do so. Does anyone have any solutions to help me fix this and get my two devices connected via bluetooth?
