Unable to activate Win 11 Pro on replacement laptop

I have a Win 11 Pro license which I bought from MS store 40+ days back. I had upgraded from 11 Home to Pro. The laptop had issues, so I got it replaced. Before the replacement, I downgraded the OS to 11 Home. On the new laptop, I am unable to upgrade with the same product key. I have ongoing support ticket now, but it's a criminal waste of time when MS can provide a replacement key, since this is a genuine issue, and a genuine license.I have had 3 hours of MS support already and its not fixed yet. Have any of you faced the same issue? Please let me know.

    :)

  2. Unable to Activate Win 8

I got Win 8 isntalled on my file server, but I am unable to activate it with the key. Says the key is invalid. Since I work at microsoft I got a retail version from the employee store. I have been doing some reading, and to be able to activate Win8 with the key there needs to be a previous version of Windows installed for it to work. WTF, so you can't do clean installs?

And the box says nothing about Upgrade version. Straight Windows 8 Pro.

  3. Windows 11 Upgrade to Pro Issue

I bought an upgrade to Win 11 Pro on my Win 11 Home laptop. It is tied to a digital license, I have no product key.

I have the Order# and everything included as a part of that purchase. That laptop recently died and was replaced. I removed the old laptop from my device list at Microsoft.com. The replacement is activated as Win 11 Home (same as the previous).

How do I apply the upgrade license I purchased to the new laptop? I see no one to change how the digital license is tied. The old one is no one nowhere to be found in my device list.
