Windows 10: Uknown Driver ACPI\FTE3600\4&2F055FAD&0

Discus and support Uknown Driver ACPI\FTE3600\4&2F055FAD&0 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; everything works fine but this driver right here.     everything works fine but this driver right here. I'm guessing that this is the fingerprint scanner because it is the only thing that's now working. this is a Chinese brand laptop my mother bought online. I contacted the seller and this is what i got.

    he says the driver is here but cannot tell me how to fix it.

    I have the following text in my Device Manager against an unknown device, Device ACPI\PNP0510\4&1904165e&0 requires further installation. What is this device and how can I update it's driver?

    I have already tried manually and automatically updating the driver, deleting the device and reloading all to no effect. I have run out of ideas...help!!

    Thanks for posting your query to Microsoft forum. I will certainly help you with this.

    This is due to ASUS ACPI Driver being missed or not updated and compatible with Windows 10.

    Step 1:

    Please check your Windows updates (including optional updates).



    • At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
    • Select Check for Update.
    • Download and Install the latest Windows Updates.


    Step 2:

    Download the drivers from
    ASUS     for Windows 10, if there no drivers available for Windows 10, download the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website and
    try installing it in compatibility mode.
    Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.



    Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.



    a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
    ‘properties’.

    c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
    ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

    d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
