Windows 10: UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver error

Hello, I have some problems with my HP 846 G9 laptop with Windows 11 22h2. My usb-type c ports have problems For the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device, it reports an error that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43. UCSI PPM failed to complete UCSI command in a timely manner. Please contact UCSI device or system manufacturer to investigate. Command:SetNotificationEnableWhen I try to plug in a USB HUB with HDMI port and trying to use an external monitor connected to the HUB, no connection is reported and no image appear probably due to the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver

I am sorry if I could not explain it well.

See all the drivers in the Universal Serial Bus Controller. There are 6 drivers and also there is one driver in UCM-UCSI ACPI Device. When the device Manager refreshes repetitively, is any one of them removed?

Check all other drivers as well.

 

External Hard Drive Not Appearing in File Explorer

Hi,

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that question.. However.. I was thinking of the SATA Controller instead of the USB Controller and everything looks OK with the USB..

There is a listing at the bottom of your image that I have never seen before though.. I'm wondering if that may somehow be interfering.. The UCM-UCSI ACPI Device.. Do you know what that is ??

BTW.. Were your drives some how encrypted on another machine ???

 

Issues with USB Driver on Surface Book 3

Hi, the usb receiver on my mouse stopped working. Device manager shows errors on:

• Surface SMF Client Driver
  
• Surface USB Hub
  
• Surface UCM UCSI HID Client
  

Updating drivers doesn't work says its already installed. I have uninstalled the devices and re-installed and still have the same issues.

What do I do now?
