Windows 10: Touchpad doesn't work anymore after update to Window11 24H2 Lenovo Thinkpad T14 G1

Am I the only one who has this problem? On my Lenovo Thinkpad T14 G1 today after a forced update to Windows 11 24H2 the touchpad doesn't work anymore. Drivers are all ok and driver updates don't show any updates for the Thinkpad at all. I tried Win 11 24H2 a while ago with the same result that the touchpad doesn't work had rolled back to the Win11 version before. But now I am really annoyed about this forced update with no solution and I will have to roll back 24H2 again to the last version before!

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s crashes after sleep

Hi there

I found this post: Thinkpad T14s crashes after sleep - Microsoft Community that indicates that others are experiencing similar issues, but I can't say for sure it's the same issue (yet).

When my T14s goes to sleep, maybe 1 out of 50 wakes it will not resume but reboot entirely.

The Event Viewer indicates that "The previous system shutdown at XXXXX on ‎28/‎08/‎2023 was unexpected.".

I have found two repeat errors / warnings:

• Error: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\DR6.
  
• Warning:
  
  • USB device draining system power when system is idle.
    
    
    
    USB Device: VID: 0x2537 PID: 0x1081 REV: 0x100
    

I have run Windows updates and Lenovo updates (incl. BIOS updates) and nothing seems to prevent this issue from occurring, and it's been happening sporadically for months.

Touchpad isn´t working

Hi there,

i did the update for Windows 11 on my Asus Zenbook. Now the touchpad doesn´t work anymore. If i try to update the Treiber, it says it´s allready updated. Can´t even find the touchpad in device manager anymore..

Anyone can help me please ?
