Windows 10: Touchpad and one other Issue with HP 250 G10 Laptop

GreetingsI am Munib. I am having problems with my HP 250 G10 Laptop CI7 13th Generation 1355U. OS is Windows 11 23H2.Problem1. I am unable to add any device. the relevant window keeps on spinning but no device is indicated.2 - Bluetooth is active. but it cannot connect to nearby device nor it is being discovered by nearby devices. Even it cannot discover other devices.3. touchpad all of sudden stopped working. in settings, the device is not present. in device manager under HID and mice and other pointing devices tab only HID compliant mouse is seen. Even in BIOS no internal signalling/pointi

You replied to the Question Synaptics Touchpad issue on 29th July 2022 , I have the same problem, I had follow the given fix issue on step by step., It didn't solve the issue, My issue on touchpad is that if you want to scroll the page with two finger function not working, I have tried many option given by Microft. I have Winddow 10 Hp Laptop. please help further.

I understand the problem, some laptops have huge touchpads and also very badly placed, and to top it off don't allow for the touchpad to be disabled. I personally think that is because the laptop developers like touchpads a bit too much. These day, I wouldn't mind a laptop without touchpad. My best solution to this problem is: attach a keyboard and a mouse, that's also a better solution in general in my mind, as some laptop keyboards are not very good either, and with a separate keyboard you can choose out of all models what suits best. Know that you can also connect a keyboard and use the laptop keyboard at the same time.

If you mean the precision touchpad settings I mentioned how I got them to appear. I guess you didn't try that. You have multiple possible solutions above- at least 1 should work for you. You just have to work thru logically and carefully, and remember to consult the Tutorials section here. This is relatively easy for most PCs but some seem to have fewer options, and these differ. There are many touchpad types and different drivers. Options vary. Here are two I referred to on this old laptop: sensitivity and palm check.



Your driver will look different and offer different options. This question has been addressed on tenforums before.
