    TOS1901 x86 32 bit driver for TOSHIBA Firmware Linkage Driver


    I needed this driver for a 32-bit-only Toshiba Satellite A100 running Windows 10 version 1809. This driver is very hard to find online for a 32-bit device. The device appears as a TOSHIBA Firmware Linkage Driver after it has been successfully installed in Device Manager.


    To install the missing driver for this device in Windows 10 32-bit, install the linked driver for TOSHIBA HW Setup Utility, which was found at the Canadian Toshiba support website.

    Hello Darshan. Thanks for your reply.

    My Laptop is a Toshiba L755-15W. PSK6ME-011004EN. Originally W7 now upgraded to W10. 64 bit processor.

    I am not sure whether I have a problem or not with this Laptop after this x86 ACPI driver update as all seems to be working ok. I take it I am correct that x86 means for a 32 bit processor?

    I have looked in Device Manager for this ACPI driver update installed yesterday but I cannot find it.

    I have also attempted to look in Toshiba Support site for a related driver update but no luck there either. It seems this Satellite model is no longer listed.

    What do you think I should do if anything?

    TOSHIBA driver update for TOSHIBA x86 ACPI-Compliant Value Added Logical and General Purpose Device

    I am hoping someone can help explain what this driver update is for and is it correct to be installed on a 64 bit version processor with Windows 10 OS?

    This TOSHIBA driver update came through today on Windows 10 updates page. The support information states 'This driver was provided by TOSHIBA for support of TOSHIBA x86 ACPI-Compliant Value Added Logical and General Purpose Device'

    The update has installed. I am now thinking the 86 reference driver is for a 32 bit not a 64 processor as my TOSHIBA laptop?

    If someone could offer some advice and or an explanation on this matter it will be most appreciated.

    AMD lists 54xx series mobility drivers for Windows 7 32-bit. XP is no longer supported.
