The audio and system tray where you change network and projects need to be separate buttons. it requires too many clicks to change audio devices. separate buttons or add hotkeys for audio device switching like you have for displays with "Windows + P ". being efficient should be the goal.

    :)

    task bar question

    Hi Peter,

Windows 10 has a feature to personalize your task bar icons. To retrieve the missing battery icon on your taskbar, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Right click on the taskbar and select Settings.
    • Under Notification Area, click Turn system icons on or off.
    • Look for Power and toggle Power to On. Your battery icon should appear in the system tray again.

Let us know if this worked.

Windows 10 Task bar and Start menu

    Hi Frans,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I appreciate your interest on windows 10 .

For the question 1 and 2 it is by design only you will not be able to change.

I suggest you to provide feedback to us regarding the issue you have mentioned. Follow the steps given below to provide the feedback.

    • Go to Start , enter the phrase
      Windows Feedback
      , then select Windows Feedback.

    • See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.

    • If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, then select
      Me too.

    • To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.

    • If you don’t find any similar feedback, select
      New feedback
, and choose a topic from Select a category and then Select a subcategory.

    • Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you can, and you're done.

For question 3 if you will turn on the tablet mode then you will be able to see

the alphabet lay-out in stead of the long list.

    Follow the steps.

    1. Go to the task bar then select the new notification icon (bottom right corner of the screen).

    2. Click on tablet mode.

    3. Click on the start button then click on all program.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.
