    There is a red target like a scope crosshair in the middle of my screen.


    Cannot turn it off. I can move it around but that's it. It overlays over anything on the screen.

    I have a Red circle with a Red X like a rifle scope on the center of my screen and cant get it to go away

    No "Scope" in dxcpl

    Hi Mika,

    For us to isolate your concern with the scope section in the dxcpl settings, we would like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?If yes,
      we suggest that you try reinstalling it.
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    A windows installer module ran Feb 8 but everything was ok until sometime in the last 2 hours. I am trying a system restore but it stalls on message "System restore is initialising " Thinking Windows files are corrupted>
