Hi all, how to fix the error: The Windows Security Center Service was unable to load instances of AntiVirusProduct from datastore? Thank you.

 

windows defender & security center services keep turning off


Are you running any other AV or did you have one running in the past? If you didn't use an uninstaller for the AV, then the remnants of it could be causing the problem. Normally any time you install an AV it disables Defender by default.

If you are getting any error codes please list those, that will be helpful in helping you.

As torre suggested, might be a good idea to do a reset or even a reinstall.

receiving event id 18, 19 and error with thumbprint (expired)

For the past couple of weeks I've been getting the following warning in the event log.

Certificate for local system with Thumbprint e2 55 21 d7 49 13 03 1a 20 51 39 6c 0a f4 fd 51 20 ed 00 c9 is about to expire or already expired.

In addition, sometimes (1-2 times a day) my game crashes.

It also wrote me this if it helps:
