Windows 10: The UEFI firmware settings missing

The UEFI firmware settings on my window 10 pro missing .

I did have UEFI Firmware Settings under settings / update and security / recovery / advanced startup - restart now

and then under troubleshooting /advanced

but it is no longer listed... how can I get the UEFI Firmware settings back into recovery?

One possible reason why the UEFI Firmware Settings suddenly went missing is because of a recent update. To better assist you, kindly answer the questions below:

• Were there any recent updates installed on your computer prior to this happening?
• What is the current version of your Windows 10? To check, type in winver on
  Cortana's search field and press Enter.
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Does your computer have a legacy BIOS or does it have a UEFI firmware? To check, type in
  MSINFO on Cortana's search field and press Enter. Look for the BIOS Mode parameter and the the corresponding value.

Missing UEFI Firmware Tile

I have a second hand Dell Latitude E5420 laptop that came with Windows 7 Pro. I updated it to Windows 10 Pro a few years ago and changed to UEFI Boot from Legacy BIOS. I am trying to change the Secure Boot State from Unsupported to On. However, the UEFI Firmware Settings Tile, where I understand Secure Boot settings can be altered, seems to be missing. Is the UEFI Firmware Settings Tile and consequently Secure Boot just not obtainable on account of the age (10 years) of the PC ? Any assistance would be appreciated.
