Windows 10: the take a test app seems to allow students to open a test outside of the app. how do i...

sometimes when my students try to open a test in the take a test app, it opens the test, but not in the app. it opens it in a new browser window and they can still use other resources on their computers. it only does this for some students. how can i fix this?

Network Speed Test app's service unaveilable

I too am getting this same problem. You might have to reinstall your Windows 10 Store apps.

A quick fix was recomended by S Dhiman2 which reinstalls all apps.

Here's the steps to follow:

The following command reinstalls all apps in Windows:

> Open Start Menu and type powershell.

Right-click on PowerShell

then select "Run as Administrator" option.

>Then Enter the following command that will reinstall all the modern apps in Windows :

• Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register

"$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

I did this fix and my Network Speed Test apps is now working.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
