Windows 10: the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

Hello all,i have singal domain controller in our envirmentIm getting error "the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted" on domain itself while creating user idor working with domain Please suggest

The problem happened after resetting my pc after it reset i tried to login but it said this the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

Hey William, thanks for the quick reply.

Can you specify what you mean by, "In either case, in order to logon as the local administrator when the computer is a member of a domain, you need to enter it in the format of .\administrator.

The .\ informs the computer to use a local account." ?

I apologize again for my technical vocabulary.

*p.s. if you intended for me to enter .\administrator into the username and password blanks, I did that and the same message came up, "The specified domain either does not exist or could not
be contacted."
