  2. The proxy server isn’t responding

    Hello All!

From the last 2 days, I'm facing a peculiar problem of not getting connected to internet.

Tried with IE, Edge, Chrome but none seems to work.

This is the error with IE

    The proxy server isn’t responding

    • Check your proxy settings 127.0.0.1:8080.

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections. If you are on a LAN, click “LAN settings”.
    • Make sure your firewall settings aren’t blocking your web access.
    • Ask your system administrator for help.
This is the error with M. Edge:

Can’t connect to the proxy server
    Try this

    • Make sure firewall settings aren’t blocking your web access
    • Ask your system administrator for help

    And with Chrome:

Unable to connect to the proxy server
    ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary between your computer and other servers. Right now, your system is configured to use a proxy, but Google Chrome can't connect to it.

If you use a proxy server...
Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > +
Show advanced settings > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN".

    What to do?

Tried all the resources listed on the web.

Can someone help me to fix this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Srinik
