So, for some reason, the Network Adapter isn't showing it doesn't show up in on Settings, Device Manager, Control Panel, everything, I just can't find it anywhere + the WIFI is turned off + the WIFI and Bluetooth are gone when you click quick settings, it doesn't show any of them, only Airplane mode being grayed out. I have tried everything, I looked online, for ages, I watched so many videos, and nothing has worked. I have tried troubleshooting, which just says "You're Connected using a virtual Network adapter that we can't test", and I have tried recommendations to turn it off and restart

    :)

  2. WiFi Adapter question

To be honest, I keep losing my wifi connection and Im almost positive its not due to my internet connection or Router or anything like that. VERY often, everyday, all day it keeps happening. The troubleshooter always resolves it by "reset wifi-adapter" (I believe this is the step it takes that resolves the problem) before it happens again anyways. Its driving me nuts ! Most time when it suddenly goes out (the connection) all the networks that should be in "show available networks" or all but the one I was connected to, disappear. I run the troubleshooter and it ends in resetting the wifi adapter. And it works. 10 minutes later, it happens again. Im trying to pin down the problem here. Thank you for your help.

Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...

I'm not sure what build they made the change in . I have tried every suggestion I found and nothing worked. When in Safe Mode my wireless network doesn't even show up so I can't choose it as a option.

Edit: I just tried booting into Safe Mode. The network icon had a X in it. When I clicked on it the only option was Airplane Mode.

    Wifi adapter turned off

    Thanks Mr. Andre Da Costa

    1. Hosted network supported: yes
    2. Antivirus uninstalled
    3. Turn on mobile hotspot : can not be turned on while the wifi adapter is off
    4. uninstall all virtual adapters: Done
    5. HostedNetworkSettings key deleted
    6. updating both your Network adapter drivers or uninstall them. : Done
    7. Starting hotspot from command prompt does not work while the wifi adapter is off
    8. Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter: not found. windows can not make virtual adapter while wifi adapter is off

The main problem is that the wifi adapter is off and if I turned it on it went off again immediately

I tried an external wifi USB adapter and it has the same problem, even if it is on it can not start a hotspot.

    What must I do
