Windows 10: The Movies Lionhead Studios not working properly

Hi, whenever I try to start The Movies, the app opens for a second, then minimizes. This is not the same as the app not opening at all, this is a different problem.

Reboot The Movies For PC

so basically you closed Lionhead Studios, right? well...

there's this one game, that lionhead had made, with an expansion pack. it's called The Movies. and i know that the movies never really succeeded in selling copies, but now, people are starting to see that it's a really good game. so i wanna request, that maybe
you guys could recreate The Movies for pc, maybe even for ps4 and xbox one. cuz like The Movies is a gem! It's a really good game, that just needs updating or a reboot!

 

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
