Windows 10: The module msvcr100.dll was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found.

There is a global problem. No matter what I do, this stupid msvcr100.dll error keeps killing me. I also reinstalled all possible Microsoft Visual C++ libraries both 2010, 2012, and 2015-2022, and manually installed the .dll file in SysWOW64 I have 64-bit. My Windows 10 Pro was downloaded from Microsoft so I know it has not been tampered with.

I am having an issue with KERNELBASE.dll in that it was causing a program to crash - Native Instruments Kontakt 6 v6.6.1

I did as much research online as I could find and from posts in here and other forums I tried various suggestions,

none of which worked.

The suggestion that came up the most was:

Run Command Prompt as Administrator - then type

regsvr32 KERNELBASE.dll (to register the KernelBase.dll)

But that gave the error:

"The module "KERNELBASE.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found.

Make sure that "KERNELBASE.dll " is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."

I also tried...

regsvr32 /i KERNELBASE.dll (to register the KernelBase.dll)

regsvr32 /u KERNELBASE.dll (to unregister the KernelBase.dll)

But that also gave the error:

Another suggestion on various forums was:

Run Command Prompt as Administrator - then type

sfc /scannow (allow it to complete then...)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

It did find some corrupt files and reported it had repaired them.

So after rebooting my computer I opened CMD as admin and run

regsvr32 /i KERNELBASE.dll (to register the KernelBase.dll)

But the same error happened.#

I also tried uninstalling Native Instruments Kontakt 6 v6.6.1 and then open a admin CMD prompt and running

regsvr32 /i KERNELBASE.dll (to register the KernelBase.dll)

but again the same error

I then redownloading and reinstalled Native instruments Kontakt and it and again it caused a crash.

I then redownloaded Windows 10 Pro from Microsoft.

Performed a clean install using Win PE and no other software has been installed on it - just Windows.

I then tried again (to check KERNELBASE.dll was installed)

Run Command Prompt as Administrator - then type

regsvr32 KERNELBASE.dll (to register the KernelBase.dll)

But that again gave the error:

What is ISDone.dll, and why are you trying to register it?

Not all DLLs can be registered using regsvr32.exe.. The DllRegisterServer entry-point needs to be there for the module to be registered with regsvr32.exe.

As I stated, the DllRegisterServer entry-point needs to be there for the module to be registered with regsvr32.exe. You may simply place the Dll file in the folder location (Windows\System32?) where
the game software expects it to be, or contacting the game support is a better idea. This is not a module shipped by Microsoft.
