Windows 10: The media creation tool won't open.

I'm attempting to perform a clean install of windows 11, but the media creation tool won't open even if I run it as an admin.My main boot drive recently crashed, so I picked up an old disk of windows 7 I had laying around -- I lost the key ages ago, so I figured I'd just go buy a new copy of windows 11. Now I'm trying to perform a clean install, but I can't get the creation tool to even pop up.Thanks in advance for your help!I'm running a 64-bit system with an i7-4770k CPU

The Windows Media Creation Tool allows you to download the Windows 10 ISO directly from Microsoft, without having a product key. You can use it to clean install or upgrade to Windows 10. It can also be use to download the different editions of Windows 10.

As for the build and version of your Windows 10, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open up the run command prompt.
  
• Type winver into the run command text box and hit OK. You should now see a dialog screen revealing the OS build and registration information.

Media Creation Tool Failed

First of all it’s a desktop, two I can’t even get to the OS (clean SSD, USB tool)

I have already exhausted all the garden variety troubleshooting steps listed for the various errors I have received so far.

None of them were particularly helpful for cases where can get into the OS or open the media creation tool…

POST --> F12 --> Boot Menu --> Win10 Pro 64bit Media creation tool --> Enter --> Loads --> POST’s --> Blue Screen*

*(3 out of 4 errors, 1962 is just a lack of OS on drive)

I'm thinking its an bad system board
