    I have a windows 10 laptop that was recently corrupted by a virus. The virus deleted Settings and Bluetooth and made the task bar completely unresponsive. And because this is a acidemic laptop that I don't own there is restrictions like the RESET option is completely missing and no changes, downloads or CMD is allowed I thought I was trapped until I made my own windows 10 recovery USB to completely wipe away my disgraceful system and remake a new windows 10. But during the process I was trapped and I believe this is permanent unless you help me solve it. When booting the USB from the F12 thing

    I can locate the log, as you suggested, however the log file is empty (size 0 bytes). I have run the suggested command above; no change. The full error is: "Logging is disabled: unable to obtain access to the log file c:\windows\logs\dism\dism.log.
