Windows 10: The camera on my laptop stopped working, any advice to get it to work?

Using MSI Prestige 16 AI EVO laptop and up until today my camera worked perfectly, all of a sudden it won't work for anything, I've shut down and restarted the laptop repeatedly, I've checked for driver updates, I even uninstalled the camera in device manager and reinstalled it, still nothing.So I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice for me to get it working.

My camera on my laptop has stopped working and means I can no longer do video call.

This error keeps coming up

Does anyone have any advice?

 

Camera not working

This is not a plug and play device, it's built into my laptop.. lol.

Sorry my bad for not mentioning, the program does install and seem to work fine. It did work when I first installed it, but it stopped working. Even if I freshly reinstall.

Errors are as followed..

When I open the program:

A webcam was not found or is not working properly.
Please click connect button and try again.

When I click the connect button....

Camera not found. The camera is in use by another application, or not connected. Make sure the camera is connected and working properly, then try again.

It is connected properly, and there are no other programs running in the back ground.

• Did you try updating or reinstalling the camera drivers?
• What is the exact make and model of your machine?
