    Hi, I have seen the other posts where the answerer tells the poster to disable CFA or to allow this particular program. However, I don't think these are good answers becausetaskhostw.exe Protected memory access blocked :Disabling CFA as a whole will leave the system vulnerable to other actual attacksGetting people into the habit of simply allowing everything without explanation is also bad because when there is an actual attack the user might also simply allow it.What the other askers wanted was not how to hide the notifications, but WHY is taskhostw.exe triggering this? What is it doing that is so abnormal? I searched online and it sound

    W10 Windows Defender Protection History

    Hi, is it possible to clear the "all recent items" list in "virus & protection/protection history"
    it currently lists 14 items of "protected memory access blocked" and 1 item of "protected folder access blocked"
    all low severity.
    I have tried various "solutions" but none have actually deleted the list,
    many thanks,
