Windows 10: Taskbar will not automatically hide.

Windows 10. The taskbar used to automatically hide when I moved the mouse pointer off it but now it doesn't. I've checked all the Taskbar settings, including "Automatically hide the Taskbar...".It doesn't work as it should even when there are no open windows.I've positioned the Taskbar at the bottom and sides of the screen and still it doesn't work.When I place the mouse pointer on the edge of the Taskbar, so that it turns into a double headed arrow, and try to close it that way it still doesn't change.The only way I've found to hide the Taskbar is to click over the Windows Icon left side of

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

follow these steps

1. On any blank area of your Windows 10 taskbar, right click to reveal a list of menu options.

2. At the bottom of the list of options, click on Taskbar settings.

3. In the Taskbar menu, ensure that the option for "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" is enabled by clicking to turn the small lever to the right of the option blue.

4. Your taskbar should disappear automatically once the hide options are enabled.
