Windows 10: Taskbar not appearing when alt tabbing from full screen

Hello there I have had this issue for a LONG time now and really need help with it.I use a laptop with an external monitor and only have my external monitor on. So I only have one monitor on which is an LG 144hz monitor.I watch a decent amount of videos and streams and that's the reason I really get annoyed by this.Whenever I alt-tab from a full screen application like a youtube video to a non-full screen window my taskbar does not come up.I have reset my laptop multiple times and contacted support a LOT of time around 6-7 times If anyone can help me please help me its really annoying and i

Alt+Tab

Hai.

While using the Alt+Tab feature, I would like to hide certain windows from appearing in it.

Because, I use two screens for multi tasking and have certain windows idly open. This makes the Alt+tab too clumsy and difficult to choose the app that I need.

Any suggestions please...

 

Taskbar glitches when alt-tabbing


While this isn't a serious problem, it's definitely a hell of an annoyance. When I alt-tab from several full-screen games, such as League of Legends, this is the result, sometimes it differs. In the image below, you can clearly see that something's wrong with the taskbar. I would also like to tell you, that when I hover the cursor on the taskbar, they return to normal.

Looks like your computer is set on tablet mode and you're having a problem showing the taskbar. Well, your taskbar may have been set to automatically hide. To address your problem, let's unhide your task bar by following these steps:

• Since the taskbar doesn't appear on your screen, press the Windows key first to show it.
• Right-click on the taskbar and click Properties.
• Uncheck the box for Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click Apply, then OK.

Once done, try checking if the taskbar will automatically shows up when pressing Alt+tab.
