Windows 10: System shutdown based on idle time of 3 hours

Hi TEam,We are implementing the ISO 27001 policy for Clear desk and clear screen as documented on below Clear desk policy according to ISO 27001 - What does it mean?The policy has three main points :1. lock the system2. log out the system3. shutdown the systemWe are able to implement point 1 however facing challenges for logging out users from workstation and then shutting down the systems. What w want is to apply these as idle time based. after 2 hrs logout the system and after 3 hrs shutdown the system.We dont want to use the idle timeout setting through task scheduler as its deprecated and

System idle process spike

Although you may have a problem that is causing fps drops, "System Idle Process" isn't what's causing it.

When "CPU usage" for System Idle Process is high, that means that your CPU is not doing much useful work.

Idle, noun:

• not working or active; unemployed; doing nothing: idle workers.
  
• not spent or filled with activity: idle hours.
  

When System Idle Process shows as 30%, what's taking up the majority of the rest of the CPU cycles? That's probably the source of the problem.

System shutdown randomly on idle

So its not every time? That's a brain wrecker lol.

Maybe a fan is working better sometimes and other times it doesn't run and keeps heat building? If you run heavier things just before it.

Maybe something is running on idle and the computer has a cooling issue? If you don't run heavier things. Properly set BIOS can shutdown the computer on heat issues.

Voltage issues might be able to shutdown the computer as well. There's all kinds of low power / idle variations that can be fairly random like anymore.

Software can as well.

I wouldn't think it has to be a faulty BIOS.
